Responsibilities:

• Put an emphasis on prioritizing safety when maneuvering tractor-trailers on the road.
• Conduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle examinations to guarantee that the vehicle meets road safety standards.
• Create optimal delivery schedules to enhance productivity and guarantee punctual deliveries.
• Follow procedures for the proper handling and packaging of shipments to maintain their safety during transportation.
• Uphold transparent communication with dispatchers and recipients throughout the entire delivery process.
• Keep detailed records of work hours and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Observe the safety regulations mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) in order to provide a secure environment for employees and the merchandise being conveyed
• Promptly communicate any vehicle issues, occurrences, or violations to ensure conformity with rules.

Qualifications:

• A valid CDL with a Class A designation is necessary.
• Upholding an impeccable driving record. Complying with DOT physical assessment and drug screening prerequisites.
• Demonstrating strong time management and task coordination expertise.
• Proficiency in safely and effectively transporting heavy and cumbersome materials.
• Proficient in offering exceptional customer service and proficient at fostering enduring client relationships.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance, including the timely reporting of any incidents that may arise.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A training plan lasting for 12 weeks, intended to expedite the learning process for individuals with different experience levels, varying between three months and five years plus

Preferred Experience:

• Skillful operation of diverse trailer types, encompassing dry vans, refrigerated units, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Competence in overseeing simultaneous shipments, integrating different transport modes, and transporting autos.
• Capability in managing household goods and specialized freight.
