CDL Driver - Flatbed Hauling

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties involving the operation of tractor-trailers, with a firm commitment to road safety and operational effectiveness.
• Thoroughly inspect the vehicle before setting off and after reaching your destination to confirm its compliance with roadworthiness standards.
• Strategize ways to enhance route planning for improved efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Ensure the safe transportation of goods by following appropriate handling and packaging guidelines.
• Keep up a transparent and regular exchange of information with both dispatchers and clients.
• Make sure to accurately document hours worked and carry out routine vehicle maintenance examinations.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• It is crucial to report promptly any vehicle problems, incidents, or breaches to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• Certification of a Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL).
• Clean driving history without any serious violations.
• Fulfilling the DOT's prerequisites for physical health evaluations and drug screenings.
• The ability to organize effectively and manage time well is valuable.
• Understanding in successfully transporting and managing bulky or oversized shipments.
• Emphasis on establishing strong relationships while delivering top-tier customer service.
• Emphasizing the importance of following safety protocols and complying with regulations, particularly in regard to reporting incidents in a timely manner.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Mastery in operating various trailer options, including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Competence in overseeing diverse unit operations, handling combination vehicles, and navigating multi-modal transportation systems.
• Skillfulness in the handling of domestic goods and specialized transfers.
