Responsibilities:

• Pilot large trucks with a strong dedication to promoting road safety and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Before embarking on a trip and after finishing it, conduct thorough inspections to ensure the vehicle is fit for travel.
• Enhance the efficiency of delivery routes through strategic planning to ensure timely deliveries.
• Secure the safe delivery of items by following proper handling and packaging procedures.
• Maintain lucid and consistent communication with both dispatchers and customers.
• Ensure that work hours are accurately recorded and perform routine vehicle maintenance inspections as scheduled.
• Obey the safety regulations and guidelines outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Uphold compliance standards by promptly reporting any vehicle-related issues, occurrences, or violations.

Qualifications:

• Evidence of a Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL).
• Clear driving record reflecting the absence of major infractions.
• Fulfilling the DOT's prerequisites for physical health evaluations and drug screenings.
• Having strong skills in time management and organization aids in productivity.
• Skill set in securely handling and transporting significant or oversized loads with proficiency.
• Expertise in customer service with a particular focus on forming and sustaining relationships with customers.
• Making a clear commitment to safety protocols and regulatory adherence, with an emphasis on timely reporting of incidents to ensure compliance.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Efficiency in handling a range of trailer types, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Expertise in managing the interconnected aspects of unit operations, combination vehicles, and multi-modal transportation solutions.
• Knowledge and expertise in the transportation of household goods and specialized shipments.
