Responsibilities:

• Drive tractor-trailers and prioritize safety and efficiency on the road.
• Prior to starting the trip and upon finishing it, conduct rigorous inspections to validate the vehicle's readiness for the road.
• Develop strategies to optimize delivery routes for increased efficiency and timely completion.
• Maintain the safety of goods during shipment by adhering to proper handling and packaging protocols.
• Sustain a clear and uniform line of communication with dispatchers and customers.
• Record work hours with precision and conduct regular vehicle maintenance assessments as needed.
• Ensure full compliance with the safety regulations and guidelines outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Timely reporting of any vehicle problems, incidents, or breaches is essential to maintain adherence with regulations.

Qualifications:

• A genuine Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL) is required.
• Flawless driving record exhibiting a lack of significant violations.
• Ensuring compliance with the DOT's criteria for physical exams and substance tests.
• Being skilled in time management and organization is advantageous.
• Proficient in the safe and secure management of large or oversized cargo during transportation.
• Expertise in customer service with a particular focus on forming and sustaining relationships with customers.
• Ensuring the consistent implementation of safety measures and compliance with regulations, including promptly reporting any incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in operating a range of trailer varieties, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Familiarity with executing tasks involving multiple unit processes, combination vehicle functionalities, and various transportation modalities.
• Competence in the management of personal effects and specialized deliveries.
