Responsibilities:

• Safety should be the top priority when driving tractor-trailers on the road.
• Check the vehicle thoroughly before setting off and after arriving at your destination to ensure that it is in a safe and roadworthy condition.
• Create optimal delivery schedules to enhance productivity and guarantee punctual deliveries.
• Adhere to guidelines for handling and packaging practices to guarantee the safe shipment of goods.
• Keep lines of communication open with dispatchers and customers at all stages of the delivery procedure.
• Keep detailed records of work hours and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Abide by the safety guidelines outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the welfare of employees and the safe transportation of goods
• Promptly communicate any vehicle issues, occurrences, or violations to ensure conformity with rules.

Qualifications:

• Possessing a Class A CDL for commercial driving purposes.
• Maintaining a spotless driving history. Adhering to DOT physical examination and drug testing criteria.
• Demonstrating strong time management and task coordination expertise.
• Proficiency in the secure and effective transportation of large and weighty objects.
• Proficient in offering exceptional customer service and proficient at fostering enduring client relationships.
• Dedication to safety protocols and adherence to regulations, with a focus on promptly reporting any incidents that occur.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A training plan lasting for 12 weeks, intended to expedite the learning process for individuals with different experience levels, varying between three months and five years plus

Preferred Experience:

• Ability to handle multiple trailer options, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers, with proficiency.
• Familiarity with handling multiple shipments simultaneously, combined transport methods, and vehicle transportation.
• Capability in managing household goods and specialized freight.
