Responsibilities:

• Ensure that road safety remains a primary concern when operating large trailers.
• Check the vehicle thoroughly before setting off and after arriving at your destination to ensure that it is in a safe and roadworthy condition.
• Establish precise delivery routes to enhance efficiency and achieve timely deliveries consistently.
• Follow procedures for securely handling and packaging shipments to ensure their safe delivery.
• Sustain effective and open dialogue with dispatch personnel and customers during deliveries.
• Maintain precise logs of working hours and scheduled vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Comply with the safety protocols outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the well-being of workers and the products being transported
• Promptly communicate any vehicle issues, occurrences, or violations to ensure conformity with rules.

Qualifications:

• A valid CDL with a Class A designation is necessary.
• Possessing a clear record behind the wheel. Meeting all DOT health assessment and substance screening standards.
• Effective management of time and coordination of tasks are essential skills.
• Specialization in the safe and smooth conveyance of substantial and cumbersome goods.
• Proficient in delivering top-notch customer service and adept at forging lasting relationships with clientele.
• Prioritizing safety and regulatory conformity in all operations, with an emphasis on promptly filing incident reports when necessary.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• An intensive 12-week training program formulated to enhance the learning experience, tailored for participants at varying experience levels from three months to over five years

Preferred Experience:

• Expertise in maneuvering through various trailer categories like dry vans, refrigerated units, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Expertise in dealing with double or triple loads, interconnecting transportation modes, and hauling vehicles.
• Expertise in the management of personal belongings and distinctive shipments.
