Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles prior to and following journeys to guarantee their roadworthiness.
• Craft a well-defined strategy for mapping out delivery routes to increase productivity and ensure timely deliveries.
• Transport shipments safely and securely by adhering to the prescribed procedures for handling and packaging.
• Establish and uphold effective communication with dispatchers and customers throughout all aspects of the delivery process.
• Keep accurate records of both the time allocated for work and routine maintenance of your vehicle.
• Uphold the safety of workers and commodities in transit by following safety protocols and regulations mandated by the Department of Transportation.
• Immediately report any problems related to vehicles, incidents, or infractions to ensure adherence to regulations is preserved.

Qualifications:

• Possess a legitimate Class A CDL certification.
• Clean driving record.
• Meeting the requirements of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical checkup and drug testing.
• Skilled in time allocation and coordinating tasks in a synchronized manner.
• Experienced in the secure and effective handling of oversized goods during transit.
• Capable of providing excellent customer service, skilled in establishing strong relationships with customers.
• Promptly report any concerns or infractions related to vehicles in order to maintain safety and compliance with rules.
