Responsibilities:

• Pay close attention to road safety protocols when navigating tractor-trailers.
• Check the vehicle thoroughly before and after each trip to maintain its road fitness.
• Establish efficient delivery plans to maximize productivity and maintain timely shipments.
• Comply with the prescribed regulations for the handling and packaging of shipments to ensure their safe transit.
• Maintain ongoing communication with dispatchers and clients to facilitate a seamless delivery experience.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of both work hours and routine vehicle care.
• Follow the safety guidelines set by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for the protection of both staff members and freight.
• Swiftly communicate any vehicle issues, events, or breaches to maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Having a legitimate Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is essential.
• Clean driving record.
• Observing the guidelines established by the Department of Transportation for medical assessments and substance checks.
• Demonstrating proficiency in managing time and tasks.
• Knowledgeable in the competent and careful transport of substantial and cumbersome loads.
• Proficient in cultivating lasting client relationships through exceptional customer service skills.
• Firm commitment to safety and regulatory conformity, with a priority on the prompt reporting of incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• A 12-week training curriculum has been devised for novice commercial drivers to offer a structured learning approach. The program is tailored to accelerate the learning process for participants with diverse experience levels, ranging from 3 months to over 5 years

Preferred Experience:

• Expertise in maneuvering different trailer types, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Skilled in managing combinations of loads, intermodal transportation solutions, and auto shipping.
• Knowledgeable in the handling of domestic possessions and specialized items.
