Responsibilities:

• Pay close attention to road safety protocols when navigating tractor-trailers.
• It is crucial to carry out extensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm its roadworthiness.
• Create streamlined delivery routes to enhance efficiency and ensure timely delivery performance.
• Abide by the established procedures for handling and packaging to guarantee the secure transportation of goods.
• Maintain ongoing communication with dispatchers and clients to facilitate a seamless delivery experience.
• Document hours clocked and regular vehicle servicing reliably.
• Enforce the safety measures recommended by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the well-being of employees and secure transport of goods.
• Speedily report any vehicle troubles, occurrences, or violations to uphold compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Holding a current Class A CDL is mandatory.
• Clean driving record.
• Conforming to DOT regulations concerning physical evaluations and drug screening procedures.
• Displaying strong skills in time management and task coordination.
• Experienced in safely and productively moving oversized and weighty items.
• Proficient in cultivating lasting client relationships through exceptional customer service skills.
• Emphasis on maintaining safety protocols and following regulatory guidelines, particularly in the timely reporting of incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• For entry-level commercial drivers, a 12-week structured training curriculum has been established to support accelerated learning. The training caters to individuals with varying levels of experience, from 3 months to over 5 years in the industry

Preferred Experience:

• Mastery of various trailer categories, including dry van, reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Skilled in managing combinations of loads, intermodal transportation solutions, and auto shipping.
• Skillful in the management of household goods and distinctive cargo.
