Responsibilities:

• Give importance to road safety when driving tractor-trailers.
• Perform detailed checks before and after trips to verify the vehicle's fitness for the road.
• Create optimized routes to increase effectiveness and guarantee punctual deliveries.
• Adhere to the rules and protocols set in place for the proper handling and packaging of shipments to ensure their safe transportation.
• Ensure transparent and consistent communication with both dispatchers and customers during the delivery procedure.
• Keep precise records of hours worked and regular upkeep of vehicles.
• Comply with safety measures outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the well-being of employees and secure transportation of goods.
• Immediately notify authorities of any vehicle problems, incidents, or breaches to ensure adherence to rules.

Qualifications:

• A legitimate Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Clean driving record.
• In accordance with DOT standards for physical assessments and substance testing.
• Effective organization of time and coordination of tasks.
• Proficient in the secure and effective transportation of large and unwieldy objects.
• Proficient in delivering outstanding customer support while cultivating enduring connections with clientele.
• Dedication to safety measures and adherence to regulatory requirements, including promptly reporting incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• The 12-week training program for novice commercial drivers offers a structured curriculum to enhance learning at a faster pace. The training accommodates individuals with different levels of experience, spanning from three months to over five years in the field

Preferred Experience:

• Competence in operating a variety of trailer variations, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Familiarity with handling multiple units, combination vehicles, and the transportation of goods across various modes.
• Expertise in managing domestic items and unique shipments.
