Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty trucks while paying close attention to road safety and operational efficiency.
• Confirm the roadworthiness of the vehicle through meticulous inspections before and after the journey.
• Strategize ways to enhance route planning for improved efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Follow the necessary protocols for handling and packaging to protect goods during transportation.
• Uphold clear and cohesive communication with dispatchers and clientele.
• Keep careful records of work hours and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance reviews.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Reporting vehicle problems, incidents, or violations promptly is essential to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Meeting the requirements for a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Impeccable driving record free from major violations.
• Adhering to the DOT's expectations for physical examinations and substance abuse evaluations.
• The capability to manage time well and organize efficiently is important.
• Proficient in the safe and secure management of large or oversized cargo during transportation.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service, particularly in building strong connections with clients.
• Ensuring the consistent implementation of safety measures and compliance with regulations, including promptly reporting any incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Skill in managing various trailer models, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Practical experience in the coordination of different unit activities, combined vehicle operations, and multi-tiered transportation methods.
• Proficiency in managing household belongings and unique cargo handling.
