Responsibilities:

• Emphasize the importance of ensuring road safety for every driver handling tractor-trailers.
• Ensure the vehicles are safe and roadworthy by conducting comprehensive pre- and post-trip checks.
• Develop a strategic plan to arrange delivery routes in a way that optimizes productivity and ensures timely deliveries.
• Follow best practices for handling and packaging shipments to ensure safe and secure transportation.
• Maintain clear and efficient communication with both dispatchers and customers at each stage of the delivery procedure.
• Keep detailed records of hours worked and the regular maintenance checks done on vehicles.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and Department of Transportation rules to ensure the safety of employees and goods in transit.
• Promptly report any vehicle anomalies, accidents, or violations to uphold compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Sustain a genuine Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
• Full compliance with DOT standards for a physical exam and drug screening.
• Effective abilities in organizing time and synchronizing tasks.
• Skilled in the safe and efficient handling of heavy objects during transportation.
• Experienced in providing excellent customer support, adept at fostering strong relationships with clientele.
• Timely notification of vehicle problems or infractions is crucial for safety and regulatory compliance.

• Dry Van, Refrigerated (Reefer), Flatbed, Tanker
• Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, Auto Hauler are different types of transportation methods for moving goods and vehicles
