Logistics Associate I

Job Description:

Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking a Logistics Associate. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.

What You Will Do:

• Manually pick orders and organize them onto pallets
• Ensure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked
• Operate manual pallet jack, reach truck, and forklift
• Verify quantities, quality, and proper labeling of products being shipped
• Examine packaging and contents for quality
• Verify packaging against packing list and SAP
• Coordinate with departments such as customer service, production, and quality
• Prepare packaging/crating and apply labels
• Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets
• Identify quantity discrepancies and report to Supervisor or Lead
• Maintain 5S cleanliness and organization
• Follow all safety and warehouse procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Details:

• Location: Glenwood, IL
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (OT eligible)
• Pay: $23.00/hour, based on experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of plant or warehouse experience
• Previous or current forklift certification
• Must pass a drug screen and physical exam
• No immigration sponsorship offered

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Physical Demands:

• Must regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Compensation:

Hourly range: $22.00 – $28.00/hour. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. Overtime eligible.
