CDL Flatbed Driver

Responsibilities:

• Put an emphasis on prioritizing safety when maneuvering tractor-trailers on the road.
• Thoroughly inspect the vehicle before starting a trip and after completing it to ensure that it is in good working order.
• Develop streamlined delivery plans to improve operational efficiency and maintain timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with protocols related to the handling and packaging of goods for secure transit.
• Keep lines of communication open with dispatchers and customers at all stages of the delivery procedure.
• Maintain accurate logs of work hours and standard car servicing.
• Comply with the safety measures mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) in order to secure the well-being of staff members and the products in transit
• Promptly disclose any vehicle troubles, events, or transgressions to secure adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

• Adherence to possessing a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Having a clear driving record. Compliant with DOT physical assessment and substance screening requirements.
• Efficient time management and skillful task coordination capabilities.
• Proficiency in safely and effectively transporting heavy and cumbersome materials.
• Possessing remarkable customer service abilities and a talent for cultivating lasting client connections.
• Upholding a strict commitment to safety requirements and regulatory standards, which includes promptly reporting incidents when they occur.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A curriculum focused on accelerated learning over a 12-week period, catering to a diverse range of experience levels from three months to five years and beyond

Preferred Experience:

• Adeptness in managing different trailer kinds, such as dry van, reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Experience with handling multiple hauls, employing intermodal logistics, and transporting automobiles.
• Acumen in the supervision of personal belongings and distinctive shipments.
